Important Dates

  • 8/18 — Entries open at enterthealley.com/mcminn.
  • 9/11 — Last day to enter for the pre-entry draw. Entries must be paid in full to be included in the pre-entry draw. Entries received after this date will be added in as time allows.
  • 9/13 — Draw will be posted by 11 PM — deadline for full refunds.
  • 9/18 (11 AM) — Final drawout deadline.

  • All entries run together. Each horse/rider combination may run one time each day.
  • Future Champs can run as a standalone entry, or can carry over to the Youth and/or Open 5D, as well as to other eligible sidepots.
  • Youth can run as a standalone entry, or can carry over to the Open 5D and to other eligible sidepots.
  • All classes except Future Champs and Youth require an Open entry.
  • Rider age incentives are calculated as of 1/1/26.

Other Rules

  • Enter online or onsite until the last 25 runners.
  • No late fees.
  • No buybacks.
  • Cash or credit cards only on site.
  • All fees must be paid before an entry will be processed.
  • Please try to pick up awards/prizes — items can be mailed at the winner's expense, or pick-up can be arranged.
  • Dress code: long sleeves and cowboy hats are not required. Please wear jeans and boots/riding shoes. This is a family-friendly event — dress accordingly.

Refunds

  • Full refund: draw out before the draw posts (September 13) for a full refund minus credit card fees. No refunds for exhibitions, stalls, or RVs.
  • Partial refund: draw out after the draw posts for a refund minus credit card fees and a $10 office fee per day entered. Final draw-out deadline is 11:00 AM Friday, September 18 — no refunds after this time. No refunds for exhibitions.
  • To draw out: email [email protected]. If you don't receive a response, you have not drawn out.
  • Refunds are processed within 2 weeks of the event's conclusion — to card if paid by card, by mailed check otherwise.

Future Fortunes & Mama's Money Eligibility

$7,500 TQHA Sidepot Eligibility

  • All offspring of TQHA stallions are eligible to compete, no matter what year the stallion was enrolled — see the 2026 eligible stallions list.
  • If the stallion is not enrolled in the current (2026) TQHA Barrel Stallion year but was enrolled previously, there is a $150 enrollment fee to compete for TQHA Stallion Offspring Incentives this year.
  • Offspring are eligible only if the stallion is paid up in the 2026 auction, or if offspring nomination is paid.
  • Owner and rider must both be a TQHA member.
  • Eligibility is tied to the horse and requires an Open entry.
  • Payout split: 60% to rider, 40% to stallion owner — the stallion only receives its 40% if enrolled in the current (2026) TQHA Barrel Stallion year. Straight payout to 5 places.
  • Results will be audited; payouts mailed after the event.
