Event Rules
Average
  • Average buckles for Open 5D and Youth 5D
  • Must enter average prior to making first run​
Age Incentives
  • Age as of 1/1/22
  • Adult: 18 - 49
  • Senior: 50+
  • 3D, 3/4 second splits
All Around Saddle
  • Double J Saddle certificate
  • Average of Poles, Saturday Barrels, and Sunday Barrels times on same horse/rider combination.
Piper's Prize
  • Double J Saddle certificate
  • Contestants 15 & under as of 1/1/22 with a qualified time in barrels on Saturday will be eligible.
  • Random drawing from eligible contestants.
Dress Code
  • Must wear long-sleeved shirt and cowboy hat/helmet UNLESS you are wearing a Piper Faust shirt (except in KK Run for Vegas Qualifiers). No hat required if you are wearing a Piper Faust shirt. Shirts are sold in the silent auction area.
  • Jeans and riding boots/shoes required.
Refunds
  • No refunds for exhibitions.
  • Draw out before draw posts for a full refund.
  • Draw out after draw posts and get full refund minus $10 office charge.
  • No refunds after first horse runs each day.
Deadlines
  • Scholarship applications: March 18
  • Pre-entry draw posts: late night on Sunday, March 27
  • Online entries close: noon on Thursday, March 31 - after that enter onsite cash or credit card only
  • Check payments/postmark deadline: Saturday, March 19; continue to enter online until noon on March 31, or on site until the last runner runs. No late fees.
