Rules

Stalls/Tie Outs
  • Horses must be stalled. No portable panels allowed.
  • Shavings must be purchased on site. ​
  • You must have a current (within 12 months) EIA/Coggins test to enter grounds. Present these at the office upon arrival.
  • NO HORSES CAN BE UNLOADED ON PREMISES BEFORE 5:00 PM on Friday, September 10 - NO EXCEPTIONS

​Alley & Gate
Contestant has 90 seconds from the time their name is called to cross the timer.

Payment at Event
  • Cash or credit card at the event. Pre-entries may be paid by check or credit card.
  • No late fees.
  • Enter until the last runner runs.

DrawOuts
Drawouts must be received in writing to [email protected] before the draw is posted. These drawouts will receive a 100% refund for entry fees. No refunds on pre-paid exhibitions. After pre-entry draw is posted, we will not issue refunds. You may sell your entry until the first horse runs. Refunds will be issued no later than October 1, 2021 via the same method you paid.

$1,000 Added Warm Up Race
  • Entry Fee: $50
  • 85% payout.
  • $1,000 added.
  • No late fees.

The New D Barrels Format
  • Entry Fee: $250.
  • 85% payout.
  • $10,000 added.
  • No late fees.
  • Entry fee is split into two races (2 long goes each). 45% to Open 4D Race and 55% to Texas Slide.
  • Consolation payouts (for 2 long goes) is a guaranteed payout of two holes ($150 to 1st and $50 to 2nd in each D). It is a 3D, .75 second split.
  • Enter until the last horse runs.
  • 1 buyback per horse/rider combination is permitted if you receive a no time. You will pay the full entry fee ($250) to buy back into that day's results.
  • Once you have made one run, you may not change a horse or rider.
Open 4D Race
  • .5 second splits.
  • Progressive payout.
  • Average of Saturday & Sunday's runs.
Texas Slide Race
  • .3 second splits.
  • 7 divisions.
  • Progressive payout.
  • Average of Saturday & Sunday's runs.
Consolation Race
  • Hit barrel times will be placed (without penalties).
  • 3D with .75 second split.
  • Equal, guaranteed payout - does not come from your entry fees!
  • Will pay $150 to 1st place and $50 to 2nd place in each D for both long goes.
  • Not eligible for average.
​Winnings & Prizes
  • Checks will be available for pick up at event. Checks will not be released without a COMPLETE & legible W9 form  on file.
  • Checks will be made out to the contestant.
  • Prizes can be picked up at event. They will be mailed at winners' expense.
