General Rules
Refunds: NO Refunds. You may sell your entry.
Horse Papers: Original coggins & health certificate required for ALL horses, including in-state horses.
Dress Code: Long-sleeved shirts, boots/heels down shoes, cowboy hat or helmet.
Age Requirements: All age eligibility is based on January 1, 2023.
W-9 for winnings: ALL contestants must submit a completed W-9 form before winnings will be released. NO exceptions. Forms are available at https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf.
AQHA Judging will take place before each Open Barrel class (Thursday and Sunday) and for Poles on Friday; to participate, you must submit your horse’s AQHA papers and your current AQHA membership information with your entry.
Entries:

- Two go rounds, no short go, champion is decided by fastest average time.
- Go rounds are 2D format with whole second split.
- Average is a straight payout format.
Payout:

- 30% to each round and 40% to average.
Changes/Substitutions: Substitutions allowed until 9:00 AM on June 1, 2023.
Final Entry Deadline: 9:00 AM onsite on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Eligibility:
- Futurity is open to any horse which is foaled 2018 or later.
- To enter the Futurity, horse must not have competed at any barrel race prior to November 15, 2022.
- Owner may enter more than one horse. Owner does not have to ride. Rider may be male or female.
- Horse papers must list the name of the current owner.
- All prize money will be paid to the horse owner on registration papers at time of show.
- Open to all breeds of registered horses. Grade horses are eligible with a vet certification of proof of age.
Exhibitions will run on Thursday, June 1, 2023 with a 60 second time limit. Draw will be posted after books close at 9AM on June 1, 2023.
